The 3rd Generation Scarlett 18i20 is an affordable and highly versatile with 18-in/20-out rack mountable audio interface that provides an easy way to start creating studio quality recordings for large recording session.  Based on the sonic characteristics of classic transformer-based ISA microphone preamps, the new important AIR mode feature subtly changes the frequency response of the preamp to enhance the clarity and definition in the important mid to high frequency range especially for vocal & guitars. Make anywhere your control room and use the on board talkback feature to communicate with your players. Take your mix to the next level by referencing on multiple monitor setup with speaker switching. Scarlett 18i20 3rd Generation have been upgraded to give you the following:

It features 2 Combo Input (mic, instrument, line level) on the front panel, two of which double as instrument-ins and line-ins. On the back panel, Scarlett 18i20 is built in with 6 Combo Input (mic, instrument, line level), eight balanced line inputs, ten balanced line outputs and four monitor output for dual monitor setup, plus MIDI I/O and S/PDIF I/O on the back panel. With the MIDI I/O ready, you can connect your MIDI equipments. The balanced line-input allows you to connect with synths, drum machines or looping hardware effects. Scarlett 18i20 has two headphone output with the zero latency monitoring feature, you get professional sounding results everywhere, all the time with your Scarlett 18i20.
