The 3rd Generation Scarlett 4i4 is a 4-in/4-out audio interface that provides an easy way to start creating studio quality recordings for all your instruments.  Based on the sonic characteristics of classic transformer-based ISA microphone preamps, the new important AIR mode feature subtly changes the frequency response of the preamp to enhance the clarity and definition in the important mid to high frequency range especially for vocal & guitars. Scarlett 4i4 3rd Generation have been upgraded to give you the following:

Similar to the Scarlett 2i2, it features 2 combo input on the front panel. On the back panel, Scarlett 4i4 is built in with two balanced TRS line inputs and four balanced line outputs, plus MIDI I/O on the back panel. With the MIDI I/O ready, you can connect your MIDI equipments. The balanced line-input allows you to connect with synths, drum machines or looping hardware effects. Along with the zero latency monitoring feature, you get professional sounding results everywhere, all the time with your Scarlett 4i4.
