SONARWORKS REFERENCE 4 PREMIUM BUNDLE
Reference 4 Premium Bundle combines two products in one bundle:
- Reference 4 Studio Edition
- Individually calibrated Sennheiser HD-650 studio headphones
Reference 4 Studio Edition offers the full package of highly powerful software, providing consistent reference sound both in the studio and on the go. Measure your studio with the included mic, it takes around 15 minutes. Reference 4 then creates a calibration profile. For headphones select a pre-made profile, and you’re ready to go. Calibration can be run in DAW via plugin for lowest latency or via Systemwide for maximum versatility.
Individually calibrated Sennheiser HD-650 headphones together with Reference 4 brings you sonic accuracy, unattainable by hardware alone. Uniquely advanced filter engine allows Sonarworks to correct all FR dips and peaks, making these headphones perfect for monitoring, on-site duties as well as record mastering. Each of these use scenarios have a corresponding filter setting. Minimum phase when no latency is paramount, linear phase for extreme accuracy and a golden middle setting – mixed phase.

Reference 4 Measure
The intuitive Reference 4 Measure process uses patent-pending technology to generate a profile of the frequency response of your room and speakers. The step-by-step process takes you through 37 data-source points to create a calibration profile from an array of data.
Once a calibration profile is generated, Reference 4 will correct unwanted or lost frequencies to attain the Studio Reference (SR) sound in your chosen DAW or using Reference 4 Systemwide.
Even in some of the most unruly rooms, a precision of +/- 0.5dB is attained.
Reference 4 Systemwide
As a standalone application, Reference 4 Systemwide becomes a virtual audio driver delivering the Sonarworks SR sound. Your system’s audio output becomes calibrated based on the headphone profile allowing you to reference your favorite music ahead of a session or enjoy music as it was intended.
Systemwide also features:
2 filter modes: zero latency and phase linear
Target curve customization
Pre-defined non-flat target curves
Mono monitoring
Clipping control
Dry/Wet control
Reference 4 Plugin
The Reference 4 Plugin will sit at the end of your track, sub or master bus in any application supporting VST, AU, AAX or RTAS plugins. By an average headphone profile you’ll remove unwanted hardware colouration. You can then work with confidence and hear every sound in your mix without leaving your DAW.
The plugin provides features that balances CPU efficiency and filtering latency. They include:
2 filter modes: zero latency and phase linear
Target curve customization
Pre-defined non-flat target curves
